I know, I know.....

...I haven't been keeping up with my blog as much as i should. And although not a lot of you comment, i can see the traffic that comes through here and quite frankly its flattering.

I promise there is a reason why i haven't been more attentive. One of the reasons is I have been working my butt off at work on a huge project and a big event that took place recently. Now i am moving on to another event taking place on the 18th of this month. So ill post the paper designs I've been working on very soon. Including the finished set to Patten and Nove's Blue Bridge invites, and Caroline and Tom's invite set.

Here's something I came up with yesterday for a "Green" event I'm helping to coordinate.

Holiday Event at Tamboril

I usually don't post such cheesiness, but its cheesy in a cute way.

I created a last minute holiday invite for a holiday party I'm putting together at Tamboril in Clinton Hill Brooklyn. We just wanted the folk we invite to look at it and smile (maybe laugh) when they saw it.

And for those of you that are curious, Tamboril is centered around a Nuevo Latino/Caribbean theme. Hence snowman on a tropical island. I'm sure i could've added a bit more dimension to the snowman, but we had a deadline to get the invites out.

Destination Kenya!

Anne and her fiancee are getting married in Kenya this December, I was so ecstatic that she asked me to design her Save the Date postcards! Postcards are a great way to market and in this case, a low cost way to get friends and family excited about an upcoming event.

Anne's colors are dark chocolate and kiwi.

Along with the postcard she can use matching or complimentary envelopes.

To order your own personalized postcards (in increments of 100, 250, and up) email me.

A Save the Date Draft for Sophia.

Sophia and her fiancee just recently got engaged. He popped the question atop the Brooklyn Bridge! While searching boarding pass templates, Sophia found the site and requested a save the date magnet using the Brooklyn Bridge back-drop.

Here's what I have so far. This is just a primary virtual sample.

My First Boarding Pass.

In the spirit of one of my favorite past times, traveling, I created an
airline boarding pass shaped Birthday card for my mom. Living in London
during the British invasion, she is an avid Beatles fan. I am looking
forward to seeing the The
Beatles LOVE Show
. Using Publisher and Adobe Acrobat,
creating the template was sooo easy. No really, anyone who is skilled
in MS Office can do it...Designing each page (colors, uniqueness) was
something different though.

The first page is the cover:

The second is the accommodations page:

The show that we would be visiting Sin City for:

The Itinerary:

I have designed a jacket
for the ticket using the background image from the MGM Signature
website
. For design info or to buy the template, please feel
free to email me or comment.

Allisson take 2

I am always up for a challenge...I thrive on challenges. It is with great pleasure that I may have come up with something for Allisson and Tobin's skyline invite. After i sent her the image, I realize that reminds me of the intro to Frasier. I am crossing my fingers, that this alternative is a "go".

My prior design may have been a bit unbalanced (see below).
